Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approximately 5 hours)

You will be picked by our driver from the airport. Pick up at Nairobi hotel or residence and immediately depart for Maasai Mara. There will be one stop over to view the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive in Mara at lunch time. Enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 4 O’clock for 2 hours. Return later to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Maasai Mara – Full day

Spend this day with game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful savannah land. This is a game drive that starts as from 8a.m till 4p.m. There will be picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village & guided nature walks

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Serengeti 

Have breakfast then depart for Serengeti passing through Isebania border. Carry packed lunch with you from the lodge because you will arrive at the park past lunch hour. Have a game drive as you enter the park and later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 4 & 5: Serengeti – Full day

Spend these 2 days enjoying game drives within the Great Serengeti. Serengeti is the home to Africa’s Big Five. There will be picnic lunch on both days.

Optionally, have a morning game drive till l lunch time then return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch relax by the pool area before another game drive at 4p.m for 2 hours. 

Day 6: Serengeti – Transfer to Ngorongoro 

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater with a short stop at Olduvai Gorge. Enjoy an introductory game drive as you arrive at the crater as you head to the lodge. There will be no other game drive so

spend the remaining hours at leisure enjoying walking around the surrounding areas and exploring the lodge’s facilities. 

Ngorongoro is quite unique as its physical protection from man natural beauty ranks it among the most pristine wilderness on the earth.  It has been also declared the world heritage and is the largest intact crater in the world. 

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Full day 

After breakfast, start with packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the evening you will return to the lodge which is strategically perched on the rim of the collapsed volcano, with the most magnificent views of the crater floor.  

Day 8: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Arusha – JRO

Have an early breakfast and then immediately depart for Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the JRO airport for your out-bound flight.
